The first weekend of September was abundant in shows: the Inter Cup in Prague, the Czech Nationals, the Danish Nationals and the Belgian Nationals.
Polish successes were most evident in Prague due to the Janów-bred ALTAMIRA (Ekstern – Altona/Eukaliptus), owned by Halsdon Araboans, who not only became the Inter Cup Senior Gold Champion, but also Best Mare, Best Mover and Highest Scored Horse (93 pts). Also on the podium were: WADELIA (FR) (Pogrom - Wróżka/Ganges) - Yearling Champion Mare and the Janów-bred BERENIKA (Senior Silver Champion Mare). The honors of the European Cup held concurrently with the Inter Cup went to: ALTAMIRA (Senior Champion Mare), WADELIA (FR) (Junior Champion Mare), BERENIKA (Senior Silver Champion Mare), Janów's BOHEMA (Ekstern - Bogini/Arbil) owned by PPH PARYS (Senior Bronze Champion Mare) and Janów's PREFERANS (HS Etiquette - Preria/Ararat) owned by Halsdon Arabians (Senior Bronze Champion Stallion).
The Czech Nationals saw the senior gold medal awarded to the Michałów-bred DRAGA (El Nabila B - Diastema/Eldon), while her two daughters (DAMALI & DAHAB) received the gold and silver in the junior category. The silver medal of the senior mares went to ZAFIRA SK (out of the Kurozwęki-bred Zaliczka).
In Vilhelmsborg the title of Senior Bronze Champion Stallion was awarded to Michałow's LISSAR (Gazal Al Shaqab - Larissa/Eukaliptus), while Janów's PAGANA (Eol - Panonia/Eukaliptus) received the trophy for Best Movement.
In turn the Belgian Nationals were lucky for the daughter of Michałów's Erabea - AGMAL JAHIDDAH (SA) became not only Junior Gold Champion Mare, but also Best in Show. The senior gold mare medal went to ESTOKADA K.A. (BE), daughter of Michałów's Espadrilla, while the junior silver stallion medal to a grandson of Białka's Ekina - EMPEROR K.A. (BE).
During the 18-19th of August the Al Khalediah European Arabian Horse Festival took place in Nowe Wrońska. Chosen as Best in Show was PUSTYNIA KAHILA. The Festival ended at the Służewiec Racetrack with the Al Khalediah Poland Cup (cat. A) for 4 year old and above Arabian horses over 1600, won by the 6 year old stallion SS MOTHILL (FR) (Nizam (GB) - Boundless (US)/Calin du Loup (FR)), bred by Alsadd Stud (US), owned by Janów Podlaski Stud. During this year's Pride of Poland Sale (13.08) 6 horses were sold out of the 15 offered for a total amount of 144 thousand euro. The next day at the Summer Sale 8 horses changed owners (among the 29 offered) for a total of 144 thousand euro.

During the 11-13th of August Janów Podlaski Stud hosted the Polish National Arabian Horse Show. 99 horses were entered into the show, with 92 presented in the arena. Awarded Best in Show was Janów's POGROM, while the show's highest score belonged to the Michałów-bred PUSTYNIA KAHILA, who received 93,5 pts (including six "20s"). The WAHO Trophy for an outstanding representative of the Arabian breed was awarded to PINGA (Gazal Al Shaqab - Pilar/Fawor) - Polish National Junior & Stallion Champion Mare (and Best in Show on both occasions), European Champion, World Champion, Scottsdale Reserve Champion, PSAIAHF Champion Mare and World Platinum Champion Mare. PINGA is also the dam of Polish National Senior Champion Mare PINIATA, Polish National & Junior Spring Show Silver Champion Mare PATERNA and European Top Five Yearling Mare PETULA.
WAHO Trophy - PINGA
Michałów State Stud invites everyone to participate in the 9th Polish Sport Arabian Horse Championships, which will take place at the stud during 16-17th of September, 2017. Co-organizers of the championships also include the Agricultural Property Agency, the 1st Regiment of Mounted Riflemen Riding Club in Michałów and the Polish Arabian Horse Breeders Association.
Entries are open until August 31st, 2017.

The weekend of August 5-6th brought a lot of joy to Polish breeders and owners, as their horses took to the podium several times during the Kauber Platte Championships.
Gold medals were awarded to: EQUALION (Equator – Evolett/Ajman Moniscione) bred and owned by Zalia Arabians – junior stallion gold medal and TM LA FENICE (Porto – TM Laguna/TM Aikor) bred and owned by TA Merij Arabians, currently representing Polish colors – senior mare gold medal. The silvers were won by TM LAMBORGHINI (Ascot DD – TM Laguna/TM Aikor), also bred and owned by TA Merij Arabians, but under the Polish flag – junior stallion silver medal and the Janów-bred EBENOS (Om El Bellissimo – Enaam/Ekstern) - senior stallion silver medal. Whereas the junior mare bronze medal went to REMARQABLE MELODY (Profender K.A. – MJ Catrouchka/JK Catalyst) owned by Dawid Borowiec.
During the 3rd-6th of August the hipodrome in Chantilly held two shows organized by the Arabian Horse Organization: AHO World Cup (judged by Anna Stojanowska) and AHO Breeders' Championship Europe (judged by Jerzy Białobok).
In the yearling filly finals fifth place was secured by ERALDA (Emerald J - Enezja/Marajj) bred by Krzysztof Goździalski, which previously placed second in class. The senior silver mare medal went to the Pride of Poland auction setter PEPITA (Ekstern - Pepesza/Eukaliptus) bred by Janów Podlaski, whose 92,65 pts turned out to be the highest score among females. Fifth place in the same championship was taken by PA LIVIA, daughter of Michałów's Larissa. Among the senior stallions the gold medal was awarded to the Belgian EMERALD J, whose dam is the epoch-making Emandoria of Michałów Stud. Right behind him on the podium placed Michałów's MORION (Kahil Al Shaqab - Mesalina/Ekstern), currently leased by Al Thumama Stud.
Whereas in the yearling filly finals of the Breeders' Championship Europe GAJA EUNIKA (Kanz Albidayer - Gaja Selene/Emigrant) bred by Krzysztof Poszepczyński placed fifth.
The last weekend of July (29-30th) saw the Internationał ECAHO B-show, West Coast Cup, held in the Belgian town of Koksijde. The 4-6 year old mares class was won by Michałów's GALERIDA (Shanghai EA - Galilea/Laheeb), currently leased by the Egyptian Al Baydaa Stud. In the finals Galerida unanimously won the Senior Gold Champion Mare title, followed by Best Mare and Best in Show awards.
Due to the list of horses entered into the Polish National Championships 2017 being published, the organizer has decided to annul all entries.
At the same time the organizer has informed that entries for the National Show are now again open until Wednesday (deadline 2nd of August, 2017).
