Alert is the son of Polish National Junior & Senior Champion Stallion Piaff, who in turn is sired by the Michałów-bred Eldon – 1991 European Champion Stallion and 1992 Polish National Champion Stallion. Piaff’s dam, the Janów-bred Pipi, is Polish National Champion and Masters Open Champion Mare from 1989.
Alert is out of one of Janów Podlaski’s most valuable broodmares. Andaluzja descends from the beautiful Angola, Polish National Senior Reserve Champion, Polish National Senior Champion Mare and Masters Open Senior Reserve Champion Mare from 1989 in Ostend.
Alert is by far the best get among Piaff’s offspring. Alert, similar to his sire, is a horse with an excellent front, correct legs, good body and a long, high-set neck. His short head has a wide forehead and large, dark eye.
Alert began his stud duties in 2010 at Michałów Stud. After a two year lease he became a chief sire at his maternal stud.
