The 28. General Meeting of the Polish Arabian Horse Breeders Association took place on March 23-24 at Pałac w Konarach and Michałów Stud.
At the Meeting, the 2023 reports of the Association’s Management were adopted, and the report from last year’s ECAHO General Meeting was discussed. During the Meeting, a change in the PAHBA Management was made – Łukasz Goździalski was elected and later appointed as new Management Member.
Two presentations took place during the seminar part. We would like to thank Joanna Krawczyk, PASB Editor at the Polish Jockey Club, who joined us with a presentation on regulations and changes in the registration of purebred horses. Later Tomasz Tarczyński from the Grabow nad Pilica Stud discussed the development of the purebred show around the globe and the changes in the type of show horses in recent years. This part of the Meeting ended with a special screening of a documentary about the stallion Bask combined with a meeting with the film’s director Hanna Luiza Ceglińska-Leśnodorska.
This year’s Meeting closed with visits to the nearby Michałów Stud. PAHBA members had the pleasure to see this year’s foals as well as the stallions at the stud.
